First time seeing a damn kid out there holding a sign. He had to be in the 13-15 year old range. He was crying, too.

I've seen this "kid". He/she is really just a young looking addict. See the face up close and you'll know he's older than what you initially think.

always has a look like it's crying too.

Went through about an hour ago and gave him $20. I guess he's looking for a bit more.

When did all of the sign holders become homeless vets? Are there no regular bums out there?

That's what happens when all the misfits destined for the bottom make a final leap into the military for food, shelter, and clothing. They go do that for a couple years and come back out to continue sucking at life.

Of course, on the other hand, there are also the ones that do the honorable thing and go join the military to serve their country. They get abused mistreated and then cast into the real world with no support. Then some just cant make the mental transition and fight off their demons, even though they were promised all types of benefits and support by their sweet talking POS Recruiter that does nothing more than business development.

It's just hard to decide whos real or fake now a days. Some say its not our job to try and choose, I say

If it’s adults simply begging on public property there’s nothing the cops can do.
