Because you can’t get an honest argument from either the Right or the Left on television. Humans are smarter as a whole than we think, and the long conversation is what is really going to make the difference in the end. Really think about a panel conversation that takes place over 10 minutes with 8 different people. Can you get much of a coherent thought across when they’re all trying to get the first argument across? No you can’t.
How do you think the Founding Fathers talked? They sat down in bars for hours on end and came to the conclusion of freedom and liberty to express vastly differing opinions. Tons of them didn’t agree on shite, but they defended to the death their right to say it and to be civil with one another. That is what the Intellectual Dark Web is in period of exceptional incivility.
I think this is a new revolution and that people will and are seeking out this long form sane format. It’s how we interact in real life, and they’re bringing this format back to the people, and thus sanity.

Combined, still dwarfed by WFB.

Pretty much yes. They're fighting the good fight against the current state of the MSM and really the overall lack of critical thinking and blatant witch hunting by mainly far Left Progressives.
It goes beyond politics though, as these guys don't necessarily have the same political stances.

Oooooh, why stop at 30 stud muffin? Why don’t you go back and read every single thing I’ve ever written?
So sorry I don’t idolize these cretins like you do. Will you ever forgive me?

Jordan Peterson and Sam Harris and that's about it.
Shapiro isn't as smart as people think he is.
Dave Rubin and Joe Rogan

Eh, Weinstein is quite possibly the smartest of the bunch.
And sure Rogan and Rubin aren't anywhere near their level of intellect, but they provide a vital role in getting these people out into the mainstream.
I'll reiterate what another poster said in that I would've never heard of any of these guys besides probably Shapiro if it wasn't for listening to Rogan.

Have you seen his Twitter over the past two months? The North Korea summit? The child separation fiasco? Dude was giving CNN a run for their money.

And that's fair.

I think there is a small minority of people in Congress that try to be honest in today’s world of two minute clips in the media. The House Freedom Caucus, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, etc. It pains me to no end that even Fox News who I find myself in agreement with majority of the time, has devolved into this talking heads shouting match on every single show. We got our just desserts when CNN came onto the stage and gave us 24 hour news. They have to create stories draped in illusion to keep up ratings. They’re not beholden to the truth anymore. And we’ve already seen first hand how dangerous a game that is. I think Levin’s new show on Fox, the hour long interview with one person, is a great idea and you really find out where somebody stands on different issues.

No, I haven’t, I got rid of Twitter a long time ago. I do, however listen to him everyday and his views on Constitutionalism especially are some of the best I’ve ever heard.

Maybe 130-140? Weinstein (if reports are true) would skew the average but Harris would likely balance that out.
Posted on 7/2/18 at 10:05 pm to TigerFanInSouthland
It’s really open conversation that is the way of the future.

Maher is far too beholden to Hollywood elitests to fit in with the dark web types

I don't really like Shapiro either, but Rogan is probably the catalyst for the whole movement
