ESPN will consider him a hero, talk about how courageous he is and how anybody who disagrees or is offended by his disrespect of the country that made him a multimillionaire, well, is a racist.
I disagree with much of what our country has done for the past 50 years, but that anthem starts and i'm standing...every time with pride and love for my country...

What's funny is he is currently living the dream, of which could only be attainable in this country that he so detests (and a few other western countries).

Does him not standing really offend you? In America we have freedoms. If he doesn't wanna stand it doesn't impact me at all. It's a song. He chooses to sit down when it plays. Overall it's not a big deal. I don't agree with his views so frick him, but I don't get bothered by it.

I think adopting a black kid helps whitey understand how bad it sucks to be black. So, seems positive, plus the kid gets parents. Better than going to China, Russia or Honduras to adopt some foreign kid.

I've got a 10 year old in the same situation. He hasn't realized he's supposed to be different as of yet. I'm sure the cultural retraining of higher education will teach him to be a little more hateful though.
