George hasn't answered my email about the Rockys Phone Line. The 2nd half of the show I will probably listen to. I have always enjoyed native american stories.

In the first half, author and researcher, Donald Zygutis joins Richard Syrett to discuss how Carl Sagan, when he was at Stanford University, produced a controversial paper funded by a NASA research grant that concludes ancient alien intervention may have sparked human civilization.

In the second half, author and giant expert Xaviant Haze will discuss how giants were a dominant feature of native origin myths including extraordinary first-person tales about meetings with giant Native Americans and how early pioneers discovered the remains of ancient giants and a previously unknown civilization that the Smithsonian successfully covered up.

I watched a special on giants once. It seems pretty thin, the convenient element being that all of the evidence has been "confiscated and destroyed" by unnamed, nefarious government agents.

Scripture tells us one more than one occasion there were giants on the earth. Some suggest they were the offspring of human being women and fallen angels. We know angels can assume the appearance of human beings, so why not. In fact, I believe Satan laid with Eve and Noah and his kin found favor in God's eyes as their lineage had not been corrupted.
Satan is akin to a Mafia Don...if he can't get you then he'll get what you cherish most. He couldn't be God so he went after the next best thing...human beings. God chose to create and use humans for His glory...Satan has been trying to thwart

I usually call in on the wildcard line.

I've always thought the premise of Arthur Clarke's 2001 wasn't entirely implausible.
Depositing a really well made monolith on the moon would be the most expensive yet awesome practical joke we could play on future civilizations.

Take a look at Isaac Asimov's idea that there is a window for complex life to exist and evolve bounded by natural radiation levels. He focused on the Potassium 40 isotope.
His idea was that too much K40 in early Earth kept the mutation rate too high to form long lived multicellular life. Conversely, too little K40 would keep the rate below what could produce intelligent life.
I'm not saying it is true, BTW, just a decent, short read.
Summary of Asimov's K40 hypothesis.
