This is what you don't understand. CNN and any other cable network station has one priority and it is ratings. Texas is a majority republican state so when you look at it from a rating standpoint.. Should they cover the storm that is affecting one point of the country in which rating might not be the highest or do they cover some other bullshite that will keep people, from all over.. watching? Not to mention, the weather channel, the station that specializes in covering hurricanes and shite, will be covering it.. It's a dollars and cents decision. And who fricking cares?

Apparently your legs aren't the only thing on you that is handicapped.

Are you really, seriously suggesting that potentially the most devastating storm since Katrina, coming unexpectedly and absolutely hammering a major metropolitan area, and potentially reforming and hitting again, is somehow less newsworthy than a presidential pardon only made necessary by an activist judge?

You're really suggesting that some petty partisan bullshite is somehow more newsworthy than a Natural Disaster?

CNN is a joke that can't even cover a hurricane without being political.

And why watch Cantore make an arse of himself on TWC with more interesting feeds on periscope, twitter, etc.?

Dude, I am not saying it isn't important. I am basically saying. If they are not covering it, it must not be in their best interest to do so. I am not trying to downplay the storm at all. The more coverage the better. That's more resources getting out information to people, for people who need it. If it isn't covered then people will not realize exactly how bad things have gotten, etc.. But I am speaking from a business standpoint. Why else would they not cover it?

Donald Trump refused to address the people on the Texas coast. Sorry, he did say "good luck."

So we had to rely on Fox News and the weather channel for information

This is so much bullshite

If you think some of us - while watching Jeff rope and ride Harvey like a Quintin Tarantino gimp - Weren't tuning into MSM at the same time, you're sadly mistaken. Fox was as much Trump/Pardon as anyone.

Oh for Christ's sake. This is the OT. OweO's statement was patently retarded.

He's not some fragile little fairy. Every day, jokes are made at his, and everyone else's, expense. He doesn't need you to virtue signal for him. It grinds my gears when people assume that just because someone has a disability that they have to be coddled. I'll rag OweO just like I'll rag anyone else on this board. It's called being an equal opportunity offender. You think I don't get the same shite?

You sure you want to play that card?

Sure would be nice if you knuckleheads could stay on that other board.

Forgive me if I think some sheriff profiling people is a less grievous matter than people in very real danger for their lives. I've worked down there. Know people down there. Still waiting to hear back from people down there.

What amounts to political bickering should pale in comparison to a VERY newsworthy event that is going to affect massive amounts of people in a very bad way. When Sandy hit I don't remember people concerned about whatever petty thing the politicians were doing.

I remember people sending supplies and crews to work on the damage and crews to feed people thousands of miles away.

People may bicker on the day to day about partisan crap but when something of this magnitude happens, our focus should be on covering our countrymen and helping them through this time of tribulation.

In S. LA we've weathered some bad shite. We've been there.

The card that the media stayed silent for the past eight years and then all of a sudden remembered they needed a transparent administration with integrity, the second Trump stepped in office?

Uh yeah, because anyone who looks at it unbiasedly realizes that is exactly what happened. The media worked as a propaganda arm for the Obama administration.

They made Mitt Romney sound like the second coming of Satan..........

I'm not a Trump supporter. I was borderline exiled from the poliboard during the primaries and election for constantly saying what an awful candidate he was.

You can dislike Trump while also admitting that the media is completely unfair when covering anyone with an R next to their name.

I'm amazed at the hypocrisy of CNN. CNN acting as if they care about those people in Texas when yesterday Hurricane Harvey was a secondary story to a guy that Trump pardoned.

The world will be a better place once CNN and ESPN cease to exist.

But this bullshite by CNN to pretend like they are neutral is where I have a problem.

Not that I care either way, but let's be honest. FoxNews claims to be "fair and balanced", but they are just as guilty as CNN as far as puching the agenda to thier target audience. If you can't see that, then I cannot help you.
