It's racist because it's the graphic equivalent of a white person doing a bad Asian accent while ordering at an Asian restaurant.

It's associated with every film that thought that putting a Mickey Rooney type actor in fake Asian eyelids and buck teeth was a good idea.

And it's lazy. It's as bad as graphic artists using Comic Sans to make their graphic "fun". Papyrus took the place of Wonton/Chop Suey for both Asians and middle easterners, now that's played out to the point where it's a meme (SNL was right, Cameron.)

It's been out of fashion for years and none of you noticed. Now it's a reason to scream oppression because you can't use a shitty font from the 40's.
