Rich people drop $30k a night Vegas Casinos and strip clubs and they are "OT ballers".

But if they spend it on seeing a concert, they're stupid?

Yes. The same goes for spending it in a casino or a strip club. But spending 30k for a ticket to a concert is especially stupid.

I like how this thread is all about people not caring about Adele but it's 7 pages and counting.

Oh I care! I definitely care! I love a good freak show. Endlessly entertaining!!!
I just don’t give a shite about her lame music.

She was one of those beautiful sounding yodelers. Just wasn’t a fan.

Exactly. I curse the wife every time she blasts that loud arse face cannon of hers on the speakers.

I’m going to Vegas at the end of next month to catch Billy Joel (a much better show) at Allegiant. My plane ticket and concert ticket combined were less than $1k.

You do realize the capacity of allegiant for a concert is probably 10-15x larger than the 4100 seat venue Adele is playing?

LINK

All those Adele fans flying in to have this sprung on them last minute. What a moron. Plus, isn’t she just a one hit wonder anyway? Never saw what the big deal was with her anyway.

She's dating Rich Paul isn't she? Taking a page from him about telling everyone else to F-off.

You never saw her as a big deal, but evidently you are upset you’re gonna miss the show.

Yeah, the fans should sue the show for losses, that's bullshite.

A classy star would have had the show, but altered it. Just get out there and sing. You can run a show with just a few people, it doesn't have to be Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Spend some time talking about what a song means to you, etc. Fans eat that shiat up.

The bottom line is they couldn't get the show ready in time, not just because of Covid. They just had to push back the start date. Maybe they were a little too ambitious with the start date to begin with and didn't realize how hard it was to get what they needed because of the supply chain issues.
People are probably more vocal about this just to brag that they actually had Adele tickets.

She lost weight and seems to really be an attention whore now.

It's Vegas. She may have gone crazy and fell off the wagon hard at one of the many buffets.

Everyone knows the bland British food she's used to sucks.

Ok. So what?

I’m seeing a better show. And with transportation included, I’m paying less than 1/30th the price.

People were paying $500-$600 a ticket to see Foo Fighters (again, a better show) at the Fillmore in NOLA (a similarly sized venue) three years ago. I don’t care if John Lennon comes back from the dead and agrees to perform in my living room. $30k for a ticket is flat-out insane.

I hate that I didn't click on this thread earlier so that I wouldn't be the 1,000th poster to say that this....

I’d agree there, but you do realize not all people have the same taste in music? Adele has enough drawing power to sell out stadiums for multiple show, yet she is playing a 4100 seat venue for what 40 dates..,, do the math.

I had orchestra fronts for super bowl Saturday that if covid and travel restrictions weren’t in place I think would easily fetch $6,000/ea +

Billy Joel is barely a draw for most, these stadium shows all have tons of seats sitting on the primary market.

I’m not sure you realize it, but you’re making my point for me.

When there are 40 dates, even at a smaller venue, $30k for a ticket is just plain nuts.

I mean, it’s none of my business what people do with their money. But that’s my opinion.
