Neti pot now that you have the dry weather allergies. Once better start taking a single generic Claritin from Walmart every day of your life, like $10 for 250 pills.

You’ll never deal with this again.

Have the whole Rotor Rooter surgery

1. Resection of soft palate and uvula
2. Remove tonsils
3. Straighten septum
4. Resect turbinates

Holy crap. How long did you have to breathe through your mouth during healing after this?

anti inflamatory and a vaporizer with menthol added (they make tablets for the machines) next to the bed. You may want a towel on your pillow.

I've been addicted to afrin on and off for 30 years. Sometimes a good saline solution is enough during the day.

I had this last year to the point I could barely hear. You need antibiotics.

Edit - This was abnormal for me. If not irregular, then maybe you don’t need them

If you neti pot... do not use tap water- boil it first.

I use NeilMed but it’s the same principle. Distilled water heated for 30 seconds in the microwave does the trick

I use the Neil med as well. I haven't heated up the water to flush before though.

Sinus surgery covers a lot of territory ! Be more specific. - turbinate reduction- balloon sinuplasty etc ? I have enlarged turbinates.

Get a steroid shot for temporary relief and go get an examination from a good ENT ! Afrin is not a long term solution. Believe me it will make things worse in the long run. Combo dexamethazone + depomedrol then an examination. Clear any potential bacterial infection and then check anatomy. Good luck!

Go to a good ENT. Also, an Allergist. I've had non allergic rhinitis for years. Also, the suggestion about it being neuro-muscular is a good idea also as my ENT suggested this after being scoped, scanned, and surgery didn't do much for me.

I use horseradish and it clears my sinuses in seconds. I’ve done this for years as OTC and Prescription drugs never could clear up my problems.
