NBA owner Mark Cuban of the Dallas Mavericks told Maher he spoke with school employees in Irving, Texas, who said Mohamed got through six periods of school before there was any trouble.
“One of the teachers, an English teacher apparently, said ‘Look, you’ve got to put it in your backpack because it’s going to make people nervous and it’s making me nervous,’” said Cuban. “And again, second hand, he wasn’t responsive [to instructions] at all.”
Ahmed, who has been invited to the White House by President Obama, said he plans to transfer to a new high school.
He faked it, staged it, and got paid..... Brilliant!

Wait, why was a clock making the teacher nervous? What did this thing look like?

Hey seriously, what do you think that the kid is innocent and was unjustly singled out by the teacher and then accosted by police officers in front of multiple witnesses for tinkering with some visionary invention during English class.
Dude you would get five licks of the paddle in my 9th grade English class for passing a note much less for tooling with a microwave oven looking thing on your desk...
This clown made fools out of everyone of you wet nurses!

And where is this evidence that he did not put the pieces together himself to make the clock?

The funniest thing is how idiots jumped out and talked about this kid like he was Steve Wozniak for unscrewing the housing of an old alarm clock and sticking the parts in a box.

Good for the famed scientist, only being 5 days behind me on figuring this out.

Seriously, just trolling like an a-hole huh?
If something seems suspicious, authorities should investigate it. Or just let small terrorist incidents happen that kill and maim a dozen or so people every time and don't worry about it. We can just say to ourselves that this is the world we live in and accept it.
I know incidents here in the US are extremely rare.

You have right to an attorney when being detained. God forbid he get one though, right?

He is not the one who called a lawyer. But that does not play into your narrative. Either his father did or an ambulance chasing attorney contacted them when this hit the news.

That does not look like a clock. It looks like a briefcase with wires coming out of it.
Posted on 9/21/15 at 12:17 pm to The Sad Banana
The school and police did not even think it was a bomb.
Posted on 9/21/15 at 12:18 pm to The Sad Banana
It's not a clock. It was never meant to be a clock. It's a fake bomb with a clock attached to it. I don't know why we keep calling him clock boy. A more accurate description would be terrorist wannabe boy.

I didn't say it looked like a bomb, either. But it definitely doesn't look like a clock.
I will say that it looks more like a bomb than it does a clock. So, he's bomb boy.

Jesus, let's attack a kid for doing a self childish kid thing, something they all do.
Since the kid is a Muslim, I figure it's okay to rail on him

Uh no. That's not evidence that he did not put those pieces together to make a working clock. After all, it was a working clock and the school and police knew it. If they thought it was possibly a bomb, why not evacuate the school? Why not call the bomb squad? Instead they leave it in the school with the boy and police in the room with it.
