I think voting should be blind.

The ballot has no names, parties, or pictures. Just a succinct bulleted list of items that each candidate stands for and will fight for.

And then a list of common topics in debates and their stance category is pre-set:

- Marriage Equality
--- Pro

- Deportation of Illegal Immigrants
--- Pro

- Marijuana legalization
--- Against

Etc.

ETA;

The big flaw is it gives no background on the candidate. They could be a crook that abuses children but that wouldn't be on there.

Scruffy doesn't want morons voting. The IQ test isn't perfect, but it prevents a large number of morons from voting.

Or instead of an IQ test we could use the test that is given to immigrants prior to them being granted citizenship.

Maybe throw in a few financial questions. And make them balance a freaking checkbook. If you cant add and subtract you have no business making decisions that affect this nation.

Sure. Scruffy just wants less people, and thus less morons, voting.

I think the idea of group training for office holders might be a good thing. But a test is not only stupid, but it's dangerous.

Can we force politicians to pass an IQ test before they can run for a public office?

Just as a laugh, this test should resemble the Chappelle Show skit where a variety of people have to answer what a badonkadonk and a loosey are in addition to being asked "Is pimpin easy?"

multicultural studies director has proposed that students must pass an “intercultural competency” test

What happens if minorities do poorly on this "test"?

Next thing you know, they will have to show a student ID to vote.

They should just turn it into the racial draft.

Yes, yes it is.

What I insulting by multicultural pushers like this woman at Clemson is the notion that anything that does not overtly include a particular group is by definition excluding those groups.

An example is black student unions. There is already a student union that is inclusive of everyone, but that's taken as racist and exclusionary by idiots like her.

My kid WILL NOT be going to Clemson if this kind of idiocy is allowed to continue.

So, in addition to propaganda for incoming students they are going to test candidates running for student government on said propaganda.

Scary

You want to set the expectation, so they succeed, right?
