Quick OT Question - Can you bring cigars in a carry-on, domestic flight? Thanks.

Yes, but sometimes, not very often but sometimes they take your lighter. That rarely happens if its in your carry on though. I'm just saying, don't bring some badass $150 cigar lighter and cutter set with you.

Thanks for the advice, will definitely leave the lighter and cutter set at home.

Yes, all the time. But, do not attempt to carry on your torch lighter. TSA agents are cigar smokers also, but not paid enough to purchase their own torch lighters.

Yes... And you can bring a book of matches, that's what I do.

Sure, no problem.

Tape them together so,they don't rattle around.
Leave a string hanging so it's easy to remove the tape.
Put an alarm clock with them so you don't forget.

Cubanos are legal to bring back under $100 or $200 from Cuba (called "tobacco products" by our government).

I probably buy more than that when I travel internationally and put them in my checked bag. I deny having any tobacco products because I think I have some kind of short-term memory issue when I get to the Customs officer.

So far this has worked perfectly for me.
