What is THE go-to cigar for a first time cigar smoker? I want to give cigars another try.

Try a Cohiba Red dot or an Arturo Fuentes Short story Hemingway.

First cigar or a few cigars to grab that won’t break the bank.

Fuente double chateau
These are fairly cheap and mild.

Rocky the edge.
Not a great cigar, but a cheap cigar that will expose you to a more robust flavor palette.

Curivari
Way underrated. These are legit and they are not expensive at all.

Southern draw kudzu
Cheap, great flavor.

The Hemingway short story is a great cigar BTW. Good luck finding an Andalusian bull.

CAO gold or Romeo Y Julieta 1875. Cheap, well constructed, easy to smoke, light bodied

CAO I would go with the Gol or the Amazon. Full bodied but best in the CAO line.

For the Fuente fans out there, I highly suggest getting your hands on a Queen B and a King B. I prefer the Queen but both are legit.

The tat monsters this year were meh.

My first cigar was a Cao MX2 which is awesome if you want something stronger. Arturo Fuente 858 is a good all-around cigar. 5 Vegas is a good brand to try some quality cigars at a decent price. I really like the 5 Vegas Gold.

When I was like 11 or 10, I stole a cigar from some old dudes stash. Big fat cigar, I remember being so excited about it.

Well..it made me so sick that when I think about it decades later I still get nauseated. I think that moment "ruined" tobacco for me.

I have never smoked a bad Padrón.
I’ve never met someone who didn’t like a Padrón
