Im black and hope this isn't a race thing man. I really hope it was a random act. I really don't feel like hearing all this hate crime stuff that shite is stale.

I think the worst thing about this is that it reminds us that nobody is safe from some nutjob anywhere.

I go to a church here sometimes, in a low crime town where nothing like that has ever happened, gun crime is rare, etc. There's a police officer posted outside every Sunday, to protect a little congregation of maybe 200 people.

I'm tired of watching this society disintegrate and devolve.

Its fricking depressing.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. I think you'll see a lot of protests but knowing some folks from Charleston, I don't think you'll see anyone burning anything to the ground. People of all walks have a lot of respect for the history that has been preserved in that city.

It's easy to have a knee jerkoff reaction after the Baltimore riots.

My questions to that would be..a Wednesday night church service isn't uncommon at all. If the guy lives in the area, he probably knows the history of the church. He could have chosen any church so I have to ask why that one?..there are some no good motherfrickers out there and this guy is definitely one. There is going to be a lot of anger over this when more people wake up tomorrow to this story and when more facts are released. And rightfully so, its but how the anger is constructed that is the key with anything.
