So God is either money or health. Glad this church realizes that.

why do mega churches refuse to engage in stuff like this?

You think Wal-Mart Jesus like Church of the Highlands is interesting in really helping people? Nope, they want to pay themselves on the back for one service day a year and oil changes for members while "Pastor Chris" flies to Seattle and lives in Mountain Brook.

This church is missing Christ’s message

Christ didn’t heal bums for free like this church is doing

Christ made the blind bums dig around in the mud until they found the mud from his spit to get their sight

Jesus made the cripple climb through the sunroof of the church he was at. Jesus wouldn’t even let poor people come in his church through the front door lmao

Will they get prosecuted by the IRS for not issuing a 1099 for each individual recipient? And will those poor bastards be on the hook for taxes, penalties, and interest by the time it all washes out in 6 years

Maximum gift limit is $15k, anything over that and taxes come in to play.

These are poor people though, I bet most of the debts are $2k-$8k.

$7.2 million divided by 6500 people is around $1100 each for reference.
