i know a guy who has worked at Dodger/Chrysler for 20 years in corporate

he said they know they make shitty vehicles and are always at the bottom of the reliability rankings. Said they make their money on finance and service, and that over 50% of their buyers are minority low income people and they get ridiculous finance rates on them.

Everyone knows this.

I'm not sure why so many in this thread are having trouble understanding the OP. Yes, everyone is aware that Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, Fiat, etc., make a lot of different vehicles and is a successful company.

He is talking about Chrysler only and its lack of success, similar to Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Mercury, etc. These brands were not successful, despite the overall success of the parent company.

So,the question remains: Is Chrysler (as a brand) about to die?

Answer is yes. It’s been no secret that FCA is still figuring out what to do with Chrysler and Dodge. Both are at risk of going the way of Pontiac/Saturn/Oldsmobile.
