This is so cool. I’ve been seriously looking forward to it since I first heard about it. I sure hope I can see it.

It sets around 7 pm. It's in the southwestern sky.

This is not the Christmas Star. It is believed that 3 planets lined up for the Christmas Star. It was a light in the sky that would be much brighter than 2 planets lining up.

I see a planet in the southwest but it's not Jupiter or Saturn. Too small and dim.

Seen it now from D Springs & will give it about another 30 min.
Pretty cool - nothing nearly as bright around them.

If you go to www.timeanddate.com you can enter your location and find out when and where to look.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I should be looking up and to the left from where the sun set...and I've been seeing a point of light since shortly after sunset. It has to be Jupiter because nothing else would be visible that early and nothing else would be at that location.

But it's not as big or bright as it should be.

Well Mars is still out, but it’s not small and dim
