We’re probably half way done for the kid. I haven’t started on our parents or him yet, but I will soon. He’s done for me.
I’m more excited than usual to decorate this year. Can’t wait!

The local Walmart already has the Christmas stuff out

frick the holidays. Nothing but a massive source of frickloads of intense family stress right now. There is a reason this time of year seriously sucks for most people with mental health issues.
I'm ready for it to be January.

ETA: Only thing I look forward to is going to church on Christmas Eve. The rest a bunch of total bullshite.

It has nothing to do with that.
My father is very mentally ill. This time of year is a massive trigger to him. As it is to many people with mental health issues.
I'm just dreading the constant battle with him the next few months that is all.

I agree somewhat. I wish people were not so damn materialistic and family members could wait until after Christmas to have their petty arguments.
