We and the wife bought 100% of our gifts online this year.

I will either do that or get everything from the Ace hardware by my house when their big January sales happen. She may need a new chain for the chainsaw, or something.

I found what I wanted (1/2carat diamond earrings) at a price I thought was fair.

I took off Saturday morning to get them. I got through the traffic, into the mall, and drove around all those cones that are not there for normal traffic, just Christmas.

Buying jewelry from the mall.

Currently in the midst of the consequences from the fact that there is no chance we can hit my wife's expectations on the perfect Christmas. Too many traditions; by the time we are supposed to read Night Before, everyone is miserable and she's pissed

Didn’t have to buy some expensive bag for a count wife so she can compete with her backstabbing friends, peace at home, and jamming the Grateful Dead.

Wife is cleaning up from dinner. I’m drinking a Blue Moon

I’m good.

My wife has been saving a pair of sexy long socks that are christas themed to wear while she bangs me. Every year she does something like this as my Christmas present. Sucks to be the OP.

I was visiting a very sick elderly friend in the hospital today. I had a major seizure in his room, collapsed and coded. They rush me to the ER downstairs where I spent most of my day. Just getting back home safe. Merry Christmas.

Sounds like they got you going, brushed the dirt off of your clothes, and sent you home.

Has this happened before? Seems like the kind of thing they would keep you overnight for if it was a surprise,

That is horrible that happened to you. One blessing...you making the choice to visit your friend in the hospital likely saved your life today. Imagine if you would have not been in the hospital when that seizure happened.

Glad you are home and ok
