China/Greece would only be 7 days. Flight + travelling to another city would kill the trip

I believe a direct is about 10 hours.
Left ATL at 4pmish and landed in Athens at 10AM ish the next day.
But Winter? I can't comment on the party atmosphere at that time.

Ya, I'd focus on Southern hemisphere and with time being a factor South America.
From there you gotta go with your gut. I don't know how experienced ya'll are as real travelers, but if not very, you are probably going to like wherever you go just from the thrill of it all.

My buddy has partied all over Europe. I've only been to Italy. We've both never been to South America. Flights would be wayyy cheaper to South America. And it sounds like the partying would be better down there in December

Lima is a fun town. Make sure you stay in Miraflores. You'll want to jump on another flight to Cusco to start the Machu Pichu (sp?) trip.
