Childhood fears ( Grey Aliens)

When I was a little kid I was looking at books in a store and something caught my eye. It was a hard cover of a book called Communion with a portrait of a funny looking creature on it. I did not think anything of it just thought it was weird. A few years later I saw the same book in paperback in rack at a grocery store and it really freaked me out. It was like primal fear of some sort. Its hard to describe but just the sight of the creature on the front cover made feel like bells were ringing in my head and for months I could not sleep with out seeing that image in my head before bed.
As the image of grey aliens and alien abduction became more a part of pop culture during the 90's I became less freaked out by the image but it still gives me at weird startled feeling when I look at it. Strange topic I know but what the hell its Friday and work is slow. Anyone else experience this fear?

No, but some of the scenes of the original X-Files movie scared the shite out of me when I was kid.
They took the whole cuddly, gray, big-eyed alien cliche and made it scary as hell.

I loved X Files and never found anything else related to aliens or UFOs scary except this image. I guess its just me.

Got one of those punching bags that looked like a clown when I was young. Don't remember the age but I didnt like it. Creeped me out. I hid it in my closet. Forgot it was there and opened the closet door a few days later. Damn thing rocked towards me and scared the shite out of me. My mom said I went in the kitchen, got a fork and stabbed it to let all the air out.

What great timing dude! I was just scrolling through the TV listings and tonight's Ancient Aliens:Declassified is on the Grey's, 4 hours of them!!! 7-11pm CST, season 1 episode 11, "Alien Fusion".
