Yea but in most of those cases, it will just end up being that you got more than half of the credit in the installment portion.

Like someone who made 145k in 2020 will get $1800 over the next six months for their 4 year old. If they ended up making 160k in 2021, they will only get $1300 in credits on their tax return instead of the other 1800.

I am almost positive this will not age well, unless you're just absolutely shite at explaining what you're saying. Looking forward to the spin either way.

If you got 2k per child last year, you will get at least that this year (unless your AGI crossed the 400k threshold.)
so if our AGI was under $400k last year but goes over for 2021 then we may have to pay this back?

Crock of shite. I’m pretty sure this will be our exact scenario honestly

Maybe, but it depends on how much above 400k your AGI is. I don't remember the phase out rate, but there is a window where you could break even or come out literally a few dollars ahead.

From $1,000 to $2,000 to $3,600 within a decade. Freaking absurd.

I can thank him for all of it since the increase to 2k was accompanied by a game changer increase in income limits.

Thanks, Trump!

I think it's pretty even with women between marrying a junky and marrying a munchkin.
