I have a 1, 7 and 9 year old. Should be $360 for anyone under 6 and $300 for each child over 6.

$960, right?

$800 showed up in the mail unlike the stimulus that direct deposited.

My buddy I work with only got $250 for his boy under 6. Also a paper check.

How fricked up can they make this?

Your 2020 income effects this also…the payment starts to decline at certain income thresholds

No... 250 each for the 7 and 9 and then 300 for the 1 = $800

Have you heard the vegetable in the Oval Office speak lately? He’s the one in charge of this this. Did you really expect it to go smoothly??

Tax credit went from 2k to 3600 for under 5. 3600/12 months = $300 a month. Take credit went from 2k to 3000 for 6 and older 3000/12 months = $250

Tell me about it. I've recently claimed like 12 random kids that have been roaming the hood looking all feral and shite. I haven't seen a fricking dime from those assholes.

I am allowed per court orders to claim my daughter every Odd year. I know my ex wife didn’t decline the payments. Should make for some fun next tax season when she gets a letter saying she owes me my Child Tax Credit

Okay. I was told different numbers.

Paper check vs. direct deposit. How much did that cost?

I understand how you feel. I listed some roaches as dependents. They’re all under 6 and I got nothing.

You baws "opting out" must be asleep at the wheel since Sleepy Joe has been in clown office.

Why opt out when there's a decent chance that come tax time, they'll make a special clown concession to forgive your advancement and still get your credit?

C'mon baws, thought y'all were smarter than that as Uncle Joe got your back. Stop fighting it and being all financially prudent, just come along for the silly clown ride.
