We really gonna just ignore this?!?!

Was coming to post this Does he do side-work as Chuck E. Cheese?

Also, the mother was either on drugs or is a TPOS that didn't care/ intended to abandon her child. There's just no other explanation for not noticing this. No matter the reason, she needs to be criminally prosecuted.

Looks to me like Mom is trying to use the baby-in-loose-car seat set-up for a big lawsuit against the manufacturer of the car seat restraint system.

Personal injury and Product liability plaintiffs attorneys heartily approve!

I installed my kids seat so well I swear you could attach a strap and tow the car with it. It seems unlikely that someone could do this by mistake but I have met some truly helpless and stupid people.

I hired an 18 year old once and he was so stupid he couldn't drive in a screw. Seriously, he was so dumb I had to teach him that pressure had to be applied to the screwdriver. Watching him gently try to use the screwdriver without any pressure on it was one of the saddest things I've ever seen. Most young people these days have zero mechanical ability or common sense but by god they can work a "smart" phone.

Not mad, just sad. I'm 38 and never thought I would witness a healthy 18 year old that can't work a screwdriver. You sound young and unable to work a hammer.

HOWEVER, how the HELL did the door just open?? Why isn't that being asked??

Either the child opened it, or it was left open on purpose. I find it very hard to believe a parent wouldn't ensure the door was properly closed and locked before leaving, then again, I would find it hard to believe a parent wouldn't ensure their child was properly restrained in the car. Failure all around.
