I have worked in restaurants on and off for the past 13 years
It's how they operate. They believe if anything, and I mean anything, goes wrong they are entitled not just to a refund but also additional free shite to go with it. They will whine and complain and cry racism until the management caves. Seen it happen way too many times - these days management at restaurants are terrified of being called racist on Yelp and other online review sites so they believe that its better in the long run to just give them free shite instead of take a stand. Unfortunately this gets exploited.
The place I worked at in Iowa. For a good 3 months in a row we had the same two black ladies come in every Friday Night 5 minutes before close and not once did they ever have to pay. They came in, manufactured problems, said they wouldn't pay, threatened negative Yelp reviews and so they would just be comped. It made me sick. Fortunately they never sat in the cocktail area where I worked so I didn't have to serve them but the poor closer in the dining area had to take them every Friday and make nothing off of it.

Here's a good idea:
1. Chick-fil-A should immediately start a new policy by not serving any ghetto women between the age of 16 - 50 yrs old.
2. Louisiana should ban them from driving on any public road.
What a great world it would be!

I have never seen anyone bitch at a Chick-FIL-A restaurant. The staff is ultra nice, competent, efficient, respectful, etc...... and, I have never received a wrong order.....ever.

Most of JAX is. My aunt lives in Ponte Vedra. There's not many redeeming qualities about that city. I can't believe they got an NFL team.

I'd be shocked if the manager of that location didn't give everyone inside who witnessed the fracas free food. Chic-fil-a is awesome and does that all the time when there are any issues that may cause customers to not come back. Gotta love CFA

There are good parts. Beaches are all right and Riverside, Five Points, San Marco are cool little neighborhoods. It's changed a lot since I left and the restaurant scene is much improved over the last decade. It's no longer my home but i have a soft spot for it.
And I'm glad they have an NFL team. When you consider the population of the metro area and the fact that you have a lot of transplants in Florida in general, the Jax fan base is actually pretty damn passionate.
