You’ll be fine bro. You’re eating way worse than that if you eat fast food often

Antibiotics in chicken doesn't matter

I always find the anti-livestock antibiotic thing curious. We take and give our kids antibiotics, but curing an infection on a cow's teat is somehow not allowed?

I'm not an Ag dude, but especially with chickens, do people realize that those bastards eat? Bugs, each other, and everything in between. The chicken in Moana was pretty true to form from what I've seen.

It’s a massive crock of shite, animals up for slaughter can’t have any antibiotics within a set amount of time for butcher. I’ve given out a bunch of shots when I worked on a dairy farm, it’s cruel to the animals to withhold it from them.

The poultry industry is very misunderstood by the public and completely put forth by the media as some huge animal abuse industry based on nothing

I mean the no antibiotics thing is stupid, same as non gmo but let's not act like poultry farming is humane. Chickens are literally stuffed inside dark houses where they can't walk around and are fed with food with steroids so they can grow larger, quicker.

This just shows me you have absolutely no idea about the industry at all. Jeez

You obviously understand that chickens like coops, like dogs like to be "surrounded" by a bed and will want to nest wherever they sleep? And you know chickens apparently go nuts if they can't get off the ground to sleep?

Of course you do. I'm sure your roomie in Starvegas built a chicken coop in your back yard like mine did.

That's exactly my point! Healthy animals is the goal. But women got turned on anti-biotics or drugs being bad bad bad. So I want livestock to get sick and miserable instead? F no.

They are being transparent about it, so I have no problem with it.

They should just copy McDonalds and build a children’s cancer center.

He doesnt understand anything.

First, if you kept chickens in a dark building, they wont lay any eggs. They also arent going to eat like they will in the light. So the entire operation would go under

His other point is even more absurd. Growth hormones and steroids have been banned in poultry production since the 50s. I would wager not one person on this board has eaten/bought chicken in the US that has been given steroids. Ever

Roomie didn't tell me that, but the coop was in the backyard. Good to know when I buy my bunker, lol.

There's a disturbing trend, about chickens, or anything else, that men get fed bullshite from their significant others that comes from social media, and men just internalize it. It becomes their identity to support what their S/O believes.

My question is this: The Cathy family is worth 29 billion dollars. Why don't they just spin up some chicken production facilities of their own to make chicken the way they want it?

Nothing wrong with staying in your own lane and doing what you do best. Trump Shuttle. Trump Steaks. Trump University. Hell, Trump lost money owning a fricking casino. If Trump had stuck to real estate development he would been a hell of a lot wealthier and he wouldn’t be worried about a $454 million bond. In fact it wouldn’t even be an issue if he hadn’t decide to get into the business of politics and the bloodsucking enemies that comes with that.

They are just that efficient.

Also... why would I care if my food is antibiotic free? I most certainly have never wondered about that when buying anything at the grocery. Neither that nor that GMO crap. I simply don't care.

They're against the drugs until they have to deal with mastitis on their own.
