Apparently some of the temporary buildings built between 43rd and 71st along the lake burned down after the 1894 world's fair even though most of the architecture from that era and location constructed around that time still stands, and there's a conspiracy behind it and/or we have to "open our minds" to whatever possibilities people like HiddenTiger concoct in their deluded minds.

Not it.
But the condescending assumption is in line with the energy you give out.
First step, somewhat shock ourselves with architecture and city build-outs that most people don't expect to find in certain time periods/places.
