The wind is always blowing there for some reason. Realtor told me one time to only open one door on your car at a time when you're getting in or out. If you open both doors, you get a cross wind that will blow everything loose in your car out. You'll thank me later.

Friends of mine own Freedoms Edge Brewing. Great little brewery. Go there and hang for a beer or four.

and there's no personal income tax. None. Lots of people have homes and horses there for enough of the year.
Cheyenne has a neat arboreteum on the west side of town. Plants might be breaking out from under the snow now.
I'd guess your Mrs. is going to get to know the air base and the old high plains research farm on the west side of town pretty thoroughly.
Most different feature of the place: the snow control structures a story and a half high along the interstates. Our eastern snow fences could never imagine that much snow at one time
