They are investigating the explosion at Williams in Geismar. Will be interesting to see if they do a video.


I'm hoping the guy with the heavy European accent makes an appearance. He is my favorite.

very well done video...really lays things out clearly and simply...

strikes me as kind of odd though that the investigative board seems to pretty much point to the accident being unpredictable while the recent ruling in LA court was gross negligence against BP....sounds like a direct contradiction...

strikes me as you aren't reading much into it. whether the blowout itself was unpredictable is not very important. it's the standard safety precautions that were ignored, and the lackadaisical response that points to gross negligence.

I can kill some major time at work watching those.

Fire from Ice was a good one, also the BP Texas City is really good. The latter changing the industry in amazing ways.

Suffering a blowout was unpredictable.

It's the decisions that led up to and during the blowout that were the problem
