I know how that is. Allegedly we have a couple hundred miles of a big line crossing the whole state supposed to kick off "any day now". Another significant portion of a 70+ mile line that's "any day now". And a whole bunch of other smaller stuff that is in holding patterns. The work is there it's just getting to the point where everyone is holding on tight to their cash flow.
In TX?

The big one is TX/LA and the 70ish one is entirely in TX. Some of the smaller jobs are in other states but mainly around Houston.

I'm booked for a training course on Monday so I should be fine for at least another week.

Coming up on my 32nd employment anniversary.
I’ve outlasted everyone else.
There’s no one here who can do my gig alone.
I’ve still got some good years ahead of me, if the fates allow.
(Retired older partners went home a long time ago and enjoy the mailbox money)

looking good on my end. Seems like the stock market and media fear isn't affecting the clients and investors.

So far we’re still turning to the right.

Survey work mainly for midstream and downstream companies. Pipeline and facility construction mostly with some land surveying tossed in.
What area are you in ?
