Baton Rouge and Memphis are two cities I've been that have the best drinking water. NYC is solid.

Nashville is pretty good, but I still use the fridge door faucet that has a filter, but I'll drink out of my bathroom faucet if I'm thirsty in the middle of the night or something.

New Orleans is fricking horrible.

Have you done testing on the BR water? Because it is pretty heralded as being some of the best tap water in the nation.

You can claim its contaminated all you want, but they test the shite out of it and its fine to drink. And it tastes better than most bottled water.

It's a head scratcher for those who know a lot about Baton Rouge groundwater that anyone in the region would drop money to lug home a case of bottled water.

"We have very good quality water here," said John Lovelace, a specialist with the U.S. Geological Survey based in Baton Rouge. "We're just lucky."

Lovelace considers it "totally unnecessary" to filter water in Baton Rouge for drinking. And Hays Owen, the senior vice president and chief administration officer for Baton Rouge Water Company, said he finds it "just ludicrous" that someone would pay for bottled water rather than run the sink into a drinking glass.

"The water that we pump out of the ground today (is) rainwater from about the time of Christ in Vicksburg, Mississippi...It's very, very soft, and it's very, very pure, having gone through a natural filtration process over time," Owen said.

US Geological Survey seems to think Baton Rouge water is fantastic and very pure

Best tasting water is from an old rusted water fountain on an old Army base.

Nothing better.

nothing beats hose water on a hot day

I remember playing sports growing up how some would get pissed if you filled the water cooler through the hose. Gives it flavor!

We have a filter in our fridge, so I'm going to use it if it's there. But nothing wrong with tap water to me.

No way. I'm in New Orleans. You'd do better drinking the water in Mexico.

Up until I moved to North Louisiana, I ALWAYS drank tap water and never even thought about it.

There have been some reported water issues up here lately, in some big and small towns, which have made me a little more cautious.

I still drink from the tap, just use a Brita filter these days.

So you are saying there is a large conspiracy with all the samples that get run constantly ? All these people are lying about the quality ?

Bruh he took a field trip to a refinery, trust him when he says drinking BR water will lead to your offspring being born with dongs growing out their armpits
