Day 4 of home improvement. Painting my very large bedroom. Floated Sheetrock for the first (and last) time in my life. I’ll have beer and Popeyes this evening.

Every Lundi Gras, I say I have had enough, and the dawn breaks on Fat Tuesday. Just can’t keep the spirt down, even at my age :-) This bud’s for you.

Still hurting riding Saturday night, and early Sunday with the family for Thoth on 3 hours sleep...

Besides, MG day is so anticlimactic...

I'm leaving for a bit so the maid doesn't have to work around me.

Haven't left for a single parade once again this year. This makes it about 10 years and counting. I'm so over the crap that has to be dealt with just to get out and view a parade that it isn't even funny.

My wife has gotten pretty selective and only goes to 3-4 of them now when she and some lady friends get together and carpool----------and they can have it.

Funny when I read this. The wife just came in and said she just had to have some Popeye's chicken for dinner tonight and was going to head to the one near the house to pick some up.

I haven't had Popeye's in years since I'm not big on fast food, especially fried fast food, but will give it a go.

Currently contemplating which dope to smoke. Portland doesnt have a version, and I'd hate to see it if they did.

..I imagine a bunch of hairy female bodies.

Tiger in Tampa:

Have you had King Cake from Alessi Bakery? That is where Publix in Ocala area gets theirs. I found them to be somewhat competitive with back home.

*Alessi website looks pretty good for other things too! TIA

In Metairie and went to eat boiled crawfish.

Don't really do much Mardi Gras.
