I'm looking to rent an SUV for a week in a few months, and am shopping around for a good rate. Do any of you know, other than Hotwire, of good sites with good rates? I've also been shopping for coupons to Budget, etc. to find the best possible rate.

TIA

Carrentals.com will give you the best deals, period. And you don't have to put down a credit card.

Carrentals.com is usually cheaper than Hotwire. Priceline is good sometimes too. I've put $5/ day for a mid size and got it before. If you're going out west try Fox Rentals. You don't have to pay up front, there are online coupons, and they are very cheap.

Fox Rentals

They don't operate in the state I'm going to.

I wound up booking through Hotwire. They were $80 cheaper than Carrentals.com

Try through Costco(if you have a membership). I got an SUV rental for less than $400 for a week before with them.
