You're debilitating dysfunction leaves you incapable of explaining anything to anyone.

My political beliefs have been quite public on here since 2005

Until the Trump era, nobody on the poli board thought I was anything close to a Democrat.

Spare us the noble act.

If you were really here to talk about the assassination and the bigger picture, you wouldn’t be using it as a launchpad to lecture conservatives about ‘partisan polarity.’ In reality, you showed up with an agenda and found a tragedy convenient to hitch it to.

Just own your progressivism, or don't. You won't shut up regardless

I literally have explained that in this thread

This is what I've been trying to tell people on here for years, at this point.

The hyper-polar political scenarios do not end well. Even if your side wins, you'll be living in an authoritarian shithole for some time thereafter.

Hopefully you actually read what's written, and you understand it this time (it's not complicated)

I opened this thread for the first Tim on page 91 just to find SFP talking about himself.

You are upset, which is understandable. But lumping everyone into neat labels like left vs right and conservative vs liberal and feeling like its all one big vs. Battle is exactly what both of the very worst on both sides want right now.

There have been political assassinations for thousands of years.

This isn’t the last one.

The only difference is it’s fed to us in real time now and people are letting the tech control their emotions. 35 years ago this would’ve been a big deal at home and if you used a telephone you might call someone but the news wasn’t spreading as fast so people had time to calm.

They did not.

The core of my political beliefs is a rejection of violence.

Then tell progressives to stop referring to every conservative voice as a fascist, racist, sexist, etc., and meet in a debate of ideas, like Charlie Kirk was actually doing.

The irony of leftists calling Charlie Kirk a fascist is just too much. The dude literally toured the country going from campus to campus to campus with a game day tent and microphone to hold open-mic debates with anyone who wished to challenge his worldview. His whole life was built around the principles of free speech.

As someone who’s studied actual fascism for north of four decades, I promise you they were not big supporters of free speech. In fact, what real fascists did was things like kill their political opponents to keep them from speaking their mind freely.
