I'm pretty disgusted with all of the slayings, but to say this is disingenuous.

Charlie Kirk was a skilled debater that could have debated the left's side just as well as he did the right. His values just lied with the right.

What he was doing was antagonistic and not at all "trying to have a conversation." It was trying to be correct.

That doesn't mean he should be killed, but to frame him as a Saint who was just looking for discourse is silly.

I was a Charlie Kirk fan. I was saying the shite-show on justifying this killing is just beginning. I am nauseated about this. I don't know how to make that more clear. The guy was a martyr in my opinion. I don't know what else to tell you.

In no way shape or form should today EVER be acceptable but to act like he was attempting to bridge gaps across the aisle is a stretch at best
He was attempting to sway people to conservative thought by having discussions openly with them.

Again I will ask, if discussions and debate aren’t the mechanisms to bring together two clearly opposed groups, what is left?

Looking for trouble? He wasn’t looking for trouble. Open discussion is not looking for trouble. Taking questions is not looking for trouble. It’s looking to have a conversation.

I’m not a hunter. Just what someone at work said. My guess is they wanted to make sure no mistake was made this time.

His death cannot be the turning point of you becoming the opposite of what he was in life.

Be bothered by it, see the tragedy and the loss of a voice that was a beacon, let the emotion in you settle. And then arm yourself with knowledge and carry that torch to show them intelligence and civility and a willingness to debate doesn’t end with Kirk.

How is telling young people the truth now considered "antagonistic"?

No it just came off that way because the progressives who challenged him can’t defend their retarded belief systems around transgenderism and abortion

Perfect shot? It was 200 yards from an elevated, stable position. Any Joe off the street can make that shot with a scope from a Dick's clearance section.

I humbly disagree scruffy. I like ya but this dude had an act to debate college kids for social media $$.

Like it or not, social media is the most effective method of reaching young people. He didn't simply post his view on social media. He debated others with opposing views and posted those videos on social media. Again, like him or hate him, he was engaging young college students IN PERSON (rather than behind a screen) in healthy political debate.
