So the father either is or was involved in law enforcement.

It’s probably good to keep from any meaningful speculation at this point.
For the first 48h we were all convinced he was a trans activist, now Reddit is convinced he is a MAGA Republican.
Anything on twitter is probably unverified nonsense or foreign disinformation.

I wasn’t able to follow much last night but saw the video of him jumping down from the roof in the video that was posted last night. My question is, in the video, where is the rifle?

You could see something wrapped in a towel in that video and he's holding it close to his body. It's grainy, but watch it again slowly. When he jumps it sort of falls and he picks it back up.
