Yes, and a big increase in severe auto accidents. On the way to work I pass like 5 spots where someone just plowed into the noise canceling barrier like Wile E. Coyote. You know that shite will be there for years, too. Makes me want to punch a dachshund in the scrotum.

The breakdown of community and family. People evolved in this environment, we solved each others problems, now we depend on fewer people to be everything for us. We have poor coping mechanisms. Shrunken family’s don’t even spend much time together, are at school and work. Kids raise each other. We don’t claim our values so we adopt anything that is advertised to us.

Self importance, is way beyond where it ever should have gotten to.

Hotels/Condos Etc are going more and more to the no-refund model unless you buy their travel insurance.

More laziness in general. Less customer service everywhere that is blamed on "Covid policies", etc.

Living in a small town with little to no after hours shopping options, Walmart has milked the closing at 10 pm thing long enough. Go back to 24/7.

Clitoris piercings are becoming more common.

Was it quite painful?

I do not know. I have just noticed more clitoris piercings when performing pelvic exams on women lately. Especially asian women in their twenties.

Everywhere adopting the lucrative subscription model. I almost fell out of my chair when I read on here that people pay a subscription to use remote start on their vehicles. I’m old enough to remember when you could buy computer software and didn’t have to pay a monthly subscription to use it.

The only social media I have access to is Nextdoor. Man, people just straight up ask for money now, pretty shamelessly. Usually a hard luck story of course, but ask for money. Alternatively, they more subtlety ask, “ does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a…?” And as soon as someone offers something free or money they gratefully “God bless.”
