Nick needs to his players jobs with UPS in the off-season. Lack of AC = immunity from crime. No more off-season worries.

I want AC at outdoor concerts.

Your homework for the next week is to drive all day without AC.

Can we postpone this assignment for about two months.

Me too! And while we’re demanding AC in places, I want it in the Atchafalaya basin, because it’s sooo hot fishing out there in the summer heat.

Well I spent every day driving to and from college without actually. Was a constant reminder why I was going to college and not going to be a ups driver or whatever else.

But seriously though, why are you bent out of shape over whether a truck has AC or not?

We should also require AC for AC Repairmen. Any idea how fricking hot it gets in those attics with the AC broke?

UPS requires its employees to buy their own trucks, UPS doesnt buy, repair, or maintain the vehicles, and the only restrictions are the type and size vehicle and of course the color and UPS decals, beyond that they are the ones who decide if it has a radio or air conditioning if they want it.
i know both my UPS drivers and we talk all the time, i was shocked to learn they are required to buy their own trucks and are paid as a private contractor of sorts based on the number of packages delivered.
that is fake and that guy isnt even a driver or he would know they buy their own trucks, just more fake outrage to sky scream about

Support. Not because I care about them getting AC but maybe it will help with the body odor. Our guy is ripe every time he walks in.

What about he people who have to actually work outside in the heat all day, and don't get the comfort of being in a shade while driving throughout the work shift?

You don't know what the frick your talking about. UPS drivers don't buy, repair or maintain their vehicles vehicles. As far as I know, only FedEx Ground uses that model.
I drove a package car in South Florida for 11 years before going into management. A/C in tha cabs wouln't do shite. Your too busy getting in an out every 3 minutes for the cab to cool down. Then what? Open and close the big heavy sliding door 2x each every time you arrive and leave a delivery or pick up stop? That's wear and tear on the shoulders. You'd also have put larger packages on the cab floor or ground outside every time you open or closed the door. That's wear and tear on your back and knees. The bigger problem is the package comaprtment. It has a translucent roof allowing light in and it is not ventilated. But routes are set up efficiently so that they just select the next pacage on the shelf and spend as little as time in the compartment. Any time you have to fine sort packages on a hot day, you have to open up the rear overhead door for airflow. No way UPS will ever be forced bt the IBT to cool the package compartments. The Teamsters know that money would come from the money that goes toward employee wages and the big kitty the Teamsters control - health, welfare and pension funds.

Didn't a UPS driver say here a month or so ago that it's better not to have AC because of the constant in/out?

But I'm not getting paid to do that.

What you are describing is fed ex… Ground… Home delivery… Custom critical. UPS owns every single last one of its vehicles and services them accordingly

So keakar is full of shite?
Shocking news.
