people act like not working for a month is the end of the world,
For a large percentage of the American workforce, it basically would be if they're forced out of work without pay. Not the end of the world, but getting behind on your bills or not being able to pay them at all is a very bad situation for a lot of people.

That mental ward in South Korea that the church volunteered at had something like 99/102 patients positive.

Thank you miss Broome. The watar is important know and can’t be expected to pay everything on time in this hard environment. Snap should also be handle up on. Higher limit on our cards is important in this hard time. We got too eat.
Is this real?
Was the first comment to the NOLA.com article telling people they didn't have to pay their water bill.
ETA: That, or the first Twitter comment where NOLA.com posted the article about not paying the bill.

I'd rather shut it all down now for a month versus half shut down for 5 months.

quote:I feel for the actual business owners in this, but 95% of adults should be able to go a month without working. It’s a sad state of affairs that this is devastating to such a large % of Americans.
Or maybe you're in such a bubble you don't realize that there are quite a few people in this country who will be financially ruined by not working for an entire month.

People get defensive about their panic.
Yes, the damage to the economy will result in more premature deaths by a couple orders of magnitude than the great scourge

This whole thing is happening because 50%+ of developed world adults are basically children who want to stay home. Dumbasses literally play video games and collect Star Wars figurines and shite. WTF do you expect?

How are the governors doing damage? What should they be doing differently?
It’s starting to become a dick measuring contest between which governor can do more.
