Celiac Disease - Gluten Allergy......anyone have this?

Just had blood work, and I suspect my GI thinks it may be a culprit....
One thing consistently shows up when I over do it drinking. Mornings after beer I'm a wreck, wine and whisky not nearly so bad.

I'm gluten sensitive. It's a really tough life. All gofundme donations are greatly appreciated

I'd think if you had it you couldn't go drinking beer all night. JMO.

My boss has it, I hate eating with him.
He drinks crown and Redbridge beer now, it's not bad.
Food choices are limited but growing.
Good luck

Science says that only 1 in like 10,000 have it. But in REALITY! 99% of girls between 19-45 have it, and you are an a-hole for saying any differnt

Celiac Disease = real and rare
Gluten Allergy = trying too hard and ubiquitous

In all seriousness, a close friend was diagnosed with it.
He started eating differently and has never felt better and lost some weight. It's a lifestyle change for sure, but you will probably feel better if you change your diet accordingly.
He also drinks Redbridge

I can't drink beer. Would throw up for two days if I had a six pack.I haven't had a beer since 2005.I can drink wine and bourbon. Dr diagnosed me with Celiac after blood-work was done, but I had already stayed away from wheats and similar stuff. Mine gives me anemia symptoms mostly, extreme fatigue/joint tightness and body aches.
Most people think Celiac is too unspecific to be legit and hate it because it's faddish, which it is. I have no idea if it's legit, but I know I feel a lot better when I eat the foods on my "list" than when I don't.

I don't think it's that at all.
I think it's the people who declare themselves "gluten sensitive," while admitting they don't have Celiac, being full of shite.

Do you have to drink specific bourbons?

My GF claims a gluten allergy, but I catch her reacting sometimes and not others, which If it were real, it would be all the time.
She is very placebo sensitive(what I think is the issue). If she thinks somethings bad, she'll react if she eats it.
EX: We got Muffalettas a few months ago from Central Grocery in NO. No problem because it had the Highest Yelp reviews, hundreds of OMGerd the best eva!!! comments, and cost something like $20.
Just over the holidays we were passing through LaPLace and I stopped at Frisco Deli. It's a run down place, and I get a muffaletta there for like $10. She has a few bites and within 15 mins she ill for the rest of the day.
I think she starts thinking..."probably cockroaches, dirty hands" in her head and that makes her ill. but she'll claim a gluten flare up, when she had none when she ate at the Hip Central grocery.
It makes me not respect her. And I'm just an insensitive jerk.

Celiac here. Diagnosed in 2002. It sucks but like everything else you learn to deal with it.

No easy way to answer without a good bit of background/context
Below is a good /easy to understand review of the science. It also touches on ideal ways to train the body and MAINTAIN health

My mother has Celiac Disease. Before it was diagnosed, the inflammation was so bad that they had to remove a section of her small intestine. The GI said that her intestines looked like they were doused in acid. As soon as she was diagnosed (and moved to a gluten-free diet), the digestive problems stopped.
It didn't hit her until she was in her mid-60s. Those who actually have Celiac have hypersensitivity to gluten, and it gets more severe as time goes on.
ETA...as for the anemia symptoms...she was losing blood through her intestines. The gluten did a number on the lining of her digestive tract, and she has had issues maintaining iron levels ever since.
