It might also be fun to take action on a "survival pool" for the 99-100ish crowd.
Betty White and Bob Barker both met their demise just before they hit 100.
With that metric in hand, I picked Marv Levy and Dick Van Dyke to succumb last year, but damned if both of them didnt make it to 100.
June Lockhart made it to 100 last year, then passed on a few months later.
Some nominees:
Eve Marie Saint (101)
Dick Van Dyke (100)
Marv Levy (100)
The aforementioned Alan Greenspan (turns 100 on 3/6)
Mel Brooks (turns 100 on 6/28)
Gene Shalit (turns 100 on 3/25)
