Doesn’t matter how many got sick. That’s not what is being reported. What is being reported is there is a surge in new positive cases and most are because people are unvaccinated. Just goes to show how much bull shite the democrats and media will shove down your throat to get you to believe their lies.

The Provincetown, MA, study actually shows the effectiveness of the vaccines. There were 900 cases in a highly vaccinated community, but only five hospitalizations and zero deaths. That's genuinely great.

I’m watching the local B’ham news and they just said of the COVID hospitalizations here 97% are unvaccinated. Of the few who are vaccinated, they’re requiring mild breathing treatments or are hospitalized for other health conditions. In other words, those of us who are vaccinated have nothing to worry about from “Delta”.

We know. We also know it was associated with a Southern Decadence Style festival where in addition to lots of people being in close proximity, they were also probably swapping bodily fluids are a high rate as well.
Basing a policy on a statistical outlier knowing it really didn’t cause a significant issue for hospitalizations is total BS and reeks of incompetence or worse a desire to REGAIN CONTROL.

It said 4 ended up going to the hospital in the 1st line of the article. But even then they don’t give you all the information. Did they have to be put on a ventilator? Did they get checked out and go home?
I’m sick of every new story or press conference only containing partial information or half true information so the story can spin one way or another.

I’m not a covid alarmist but saying this is like only being concerned with how many were shot after a man fired randomly into a crowd.
I’d imagine relatively few of them had severe symptoms since the vaccine works to minimize symptoms for when you catch the virus. Everything I’ve read says the vaccine will not prevent you from catching it. There are probably millions with the vaccine who have caught it but never sought medical attention because they didn’t know they had it. I think the vaccine’s goal is to stop you from being affected by it, not to prevent you from catching it.

False. Shutdowns are happening in areas where this is NOT the case. Governors in Places where they are having increased hospitalizations but not in the crisis category are not shutting down.

The virus can spread from and to vaccinated people. It’s the impact that matters and the impact on vaccinated people is much less than it is on unvaccinated people.
Locally in SE Louisiana, over 85% of those in hospital for covid are unvaccinated. UN vaccinated
