It's spread through orofecal transmission which means farts which means we should wear masks over our butts.

Let me help you

quote:

The agency had posted information Friday stating the virus can transmit over a distance beyond six feet, suggesting that indoor ventilation is key to protecting against a virus that has now killed nearly 200,000 Americans.

The CDC shifted its guidelines Friday, but the change was not widely noticed until a CNN report Sunday. Where the agency previously warned that the virus mostly spreads through large drops encountered at close range, on Friday, it had said “small particles, such as those in aerosols,” were a common vector.

But Jay Butler, the CDC’s deputy director for infectious disease, said the Friday update was posted in error. “Unfortunately an early draft of a revision went up without any technical review,” he said.

This doesn't mean masks are useless. This means that aerosol particles are not a significant source of spread.. which we already knew.

Well, this is the biggest hoax in history. The virus is real, but the response is the pandemic. I believe this Report is true, and data will come out slowly how this was a nothingburger

Since science and all, I assume that nationwide mask mandates will be lifted tomorrow

Wrong. They missed this by a factor of 1000...I heard it in a Biden speech. He said 200 million have died...

Droplet and contact transmission(although more commonly via droplet)

Meaning....you inhale or get droplets expelled from someone infected into your mucous membranes(eyes, nose, mouth). This can happen when the infected person talks, breathes, laughs, coughs, sneezes, sings, shouts, etc.

So a proper mask would protect you from getting those droplets in your mouth and nose. Eye protection would protect you from getting it in your eyes.

And the other person wearing a mask would lessen your chance of getting these droplets in your mucous membranes.

The airborne transmission is in certain situations. For example....a patient being intubated prior to surgery. The intubation itself could temporarily aerosolize the virus into the air. So you would need an N95, eye protection, and gown and gloves to protect you.

However, the stress is on temporary. Those aerosolized droplets will eventually fall to the ground. They don't float on the air for long periods of time like other true airborne viruses (TB, chickenpox, measles).

How fricking stupid are you man? Really, of course it’s spread through aerosol transmission. Mask may not be much help but for the exact opposition reason.

Right after the election they will reverse themselves again and go with actual science

The response to this has been nothing short of comical. Why anyone is still getting tested is besides me. Two weeks of wasted vacation or non paid time off. frick all that. If you morons would stop going get test because you were around someone who was positive, they wouldn’t have any data to fear monger with
