Do they want the girls to compete to see who can earn themselves a modesty poncho?

Because that's how you get the girls to compete to see who can earn themselves a modesty poncho.

Looks like they just created this year's new fashion trend.

Private school. They can make their own rules. Don’t like them? Send your money and kids elsewhere. That being said, adults have to follow dress codes every day. Whether it’s a work uniform or company dress code. Going into the world you need to realize this.

Oh, I agree but who determines what is "slutty" or not. Who at the school is an expert on sluttiness?

Looks like it mostly covers just the top, so it must be okay to show waist down.

I remember going to St. Joes prom and the nuns telling us to keep enough room for the holy ghost when we were dancing too close.

It's a Catholic school. They still teach proper genetics and biology there, I assume.

Sounds like they're LITERALLY indoctrinating Nazis.

Yeah, all the young men would definitely be disappointed.

“Our intention with displaying the poncho was never to make students feel uncomfortable, but to remind all students and parents of our formal Prom dress policy, which has not changed for several years,” principal Eric Haley wrote in a statement obtained by The Post. “To be clear: The poncho will not be passed out at Prom. It was on display to proactively remind students of our dress code policies and eliminate any confusion prior to this special event.”

Isn't always? This kind of stuff reminds me of Footloose. Shouldn't the parents be in charge of making those decisions?

They should look at the upside of this.

Now, she's not going to get spray stains all over her dress when she takes the facial.

As the father of two teen girls, where might I get a few of these ponchos?

It's a catholic school so I don't see a problem with this. They don't want the girls to look like hooahs at a school function.

Just don't let them wear the "slutty" dresses. I have girls also, I feel your pain.

There is a thread everyday on the OT about sluttiness experts at school. There is no shortage on these experts apparently.

Lil Pooh can attest to that.

Of course, ghosts don't take up physical space...so, anything goes.

Kind of ironic that the mannequin in the photo looks like it’s flicking you off.
