Also, I don't think Casey killed her. I think what happened was she pawned her daughter off on her parents (which she always did) and they didn't watch her and she got out and drowned in the pool. Her parents freaked out and felt like it was all Casey's fault and confronted her about it. And Casey couldn't care less. Her dad got rid of the body and made it look like she was murdered and when the authorities come knocking the finger pointing began.
ETA: in short, I believe all three of them were responsible for her death but that her death wasn't intentional
Casey absolutely killed her, but I believe it was an accident and she freaked out.
I believe she used the chloroform to try and get the baby to fall asleep. I don't think she used the chloroform to intentionally kill the child.....and...well you know the outcome.

Andrea Pia Kennedy Yates (born July 2, 1964) is a former resident of Houston, Texas, who confessed to drowning her five children in their bathtub on June 20, 2001.[
quote:
She started with John, Paul, and Luke, and then laid them in her bed. She then drowned Mary, whom she left floating in the tub. Noah came in and asked what was wrong with Mary. He then ran, but she soon caught and drowned him. She then left him floating in the tub and laid Mary in John's arm in the bed. She then called the police repeatedly saying she needed an officer but would not say why. Then she called Rusty, telling him he needed to come home right away.[7]

hmm... i'm slightly confused by this.
In cases where a parent kills their own child, it's typically a buildup. You'll see the Google searches start about a week or two before the death. It starts out with "death" then leads to "hot car deaths" and then you'll see something like "how long does it take for a child to die in a hot car". That didn't happen here. It was the day of. So did she decide to kill her child that day, in the heat of the moment? It's unlikely. If you're going to kill your kid you say to yourself, "THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD IT!", chances are you're not going to rush to your computer, pull up Google (or, in this case, Firefox), and start googling how to kill your kid. It was the day she went missing, and I may be wrong but I don't believe the prosecution could place Casey in the house that day or around the time they think Caylee went missing.

Of course, she didn't. It was Zanny the Nanny. Some people are so gullible...

It's possible but the same day you have searches for "suffocation" and I think some concerning death.
I think the child died in the care of the grandparents and they tried to cover it up and blame their daughter. Casey is a monster as the evidence showed she couldn't give two shits about it. She was a horrible mother. The problem was that was pretty much the only proof and theme of the prosecution. The prosecution calling the father as a witness was an absolute disaster.

Even considering the child murderer thing...I've fricked way worse. So IWHI

I always thought she kind of got a bad rap. I also never really gave a shite enough to learn about the details of the case. But anything that really pisses off Nancy Grace and the fat mouth-breathers that make up her audience can't be all bad. To be frank, she should have sued Nancy Grace for libel.

"chloroform" were conducted in March, three months before Caylee disappeared
boom.
I mean, I know this doesn't hold any value or anything. But if you can't look at this bitch while she's talking and know she's lying and know that she killed the kid, you're naive. She is guilty as they come

Oh wow. Why didn't they introduce that? I thought the only evidence they introduced for the Google searches was the day Caylee went missing.
Hmmm...just read the article. Not really conclusive of anything. The grandmother (Casey's mother) is a nurse. Maybe she searched it as a way of putting the child to sleep? And the profile they made of Casey doesn't fit (which I think was a huge mistake). They made Casey out to be some dumbass bitch who would never amount to anything in life, and they want us to believe she was trying to learn how to make chloroform?
I'm glad you found that, though. Thanks.

This is what I think happened too. She wanted to go party and her parents probably didn't want to babysit so she can get gangbanged so she looked that up to put her to sleep. She did it for too long and she didn't wake up and the rest is history. I feel bad for the little girl

The Judge from the case recently retired and spoke about the evidence /testimony. He believed Casey used chloroform to put the baby to sleep and over did it
LINK
accidental but still responsible
Prosecution did a HORRIBLE job, defense wasnt much better but the poor prosecution left the jury with reasonable doubt

my wife followed this case very closely and her theory is that Casey killed her but it was an accident then she tried to cover it up

Prosecution was just awful, but Baez did wayyyy better than the prosecution. The prosecution couldn't establish a timeline. Basically, their case boiled down to "Mom is a whore so you must convict her". I wasn't too impressed with Baez at times, but he knocked his closing argument out of the park. "Yeah, my client is a slut. Yeah, she's a shitty mom. That doesn't prove she killed her daughter." It made the jury look at the timeline and realize if they convict Casey it's because they didn't like her.

She's guilty as hell. Perhaps learning some of the details would overcome your bias.

It's apparent she doesn't give a shite what people think. She didn't give a shite that her daughter looked to her for safety and care either.
