Anyone have any idea what the unsharpened flat blade is for?

Also what is your go to pocket knife?

Going back to a time when doctors routinely made house calls, this knife was a popular tool carried in the family neighborhood doctor's bag. One of the earliest knife patterns made by Case around the turn of the century, the Doctor's Knife(85) was designed specifically in aiding the doctor to crush pills into a powder form using the uniquely shaped, flat, squared bolster to do so. The medication could then be added to a capsule or easily dissolved in liquid or mixed with food by using the spatula blade as the scoop and stirring spoon.

They could make a killing if they started marketing these knives to junkies. That would be perfect for breaking down their Roxy to shoot them up.

Bored housewife junkies would. It would be like the Michael Kors purse but just for crushing their pills. All the basic bitches think they're classy.
