Can you believe Carville was working to help Landrieu run for President???
Do you think the new flyovers at the airport will be finished before all the shoddy construction of the terminal is corrected? before all the Landrieu cronies get all the change orders they can get?

Did we have two year tags back then? I haven't ever kept my up-to-date, but I thought the two year thing was recent
No, 2 year tags were only available beginning in 2012.

This looks like a screenshot from a level of DooM. I half expect some demon eyes come glowing out from the darkness.

Will cost 3 civil war statues to remove.

Minor update on theculvert cars. S&WB officials say they ran the license plate of at least one car by NOPD, which did not have a record of it being stolen.
More likely an insurance dump. Usually they remove the plate first, though. Dumbasses.

Just seems like it would be pretty damn difficult to push a car in there
Agreed, that's why I was wondering if there was a portion of the open-air part that didn't have the slats, upstream of this location.

Adelson has been reporting on the S&WB for a while now.

But wouldn't you still report it stolen? How would you explain to the insurance company what happened to it without a police report? I'm no criminal mastermind, so maybe I'm missing something.

So about where the underground drain turns north towards the Lake?
If there is a bend/turn, debris could easily stack up just before it.

Maybe he reported it was in a crash and hit the water? And the police were too incompetent to look for it, and the insurance company didn't want to either?
I don't know. The whole thing makes no sense.

look at the map and look at where they are saying the cars are....it appears to be right in the bend

Has this been done yet?

The fact that people think NOPD actually takes reports is comical. Most of the time, they try and shame people into not filing reports

Bit more info from S&WB: someone got a look at the brake tag on one of the cars and it was dated 2007
