Carnival Cruise Line deploying drug detecting dogs

To crack down on rampant marijuana use on board their ships, they will deploy drug detection dogs to sniff boarding passengers' luggage. This will definitely cut down on pot usage, but will probably also create drop in business. I would say 50% of cruise line customers smoke pot. If they are unable to do so, they may opt to fly or drive to their next vacation.

Good. Get more trash OFF the ships and maybe respectable people will want to go in a cruise.
Stories like this only reinforce the image of cruises being floating trailer parks. Disgusting people on those boats.

Not legally. As long as you are flying domestic, it's easy to hide it in your checked baggage. For international flights, you'll occasionally get the canine dogs on patrol.

They are stupid. Open a dispensary on board and have a specific location near the rear of the ship to consume. That is normally where the adults only is anyway on a bunch of ships. Turn it into a money maker. Many travelers are from states where it is legal.

Cruises are floating dumpster fires. This might help the situation, but cruises are trash magnets.

Evidently, common sense hasn’t made its way to cruise ships. What happened to international waters and people picking up something from port of calls? Brittney Griner and her Russian ties have royally fricked up Americans trying to get high on vacation.

Yes. TSA dogs sniff bombs not weed. I always fly with weed. If I'm going somewhere it's legal, I always brings tons home.
