Go to Slaughter, Feliciana Windshield. They can do it even if you live in EBRP - can only be 1 year.

Just don't go see that a-hole at Quality Lube on Highway 19. Baker Texaco is usually good.

Not quality lube express on 19. Went to get an inspection sticker at 4:30pm and this dude told me my engine was loose.

The bullshite demonstration of him revving my truck and showing a small shift in the engine was the icing on the cake.

Said that the state teaches classes how to fail 2024s coming off the lot.

I just laughed and said, wow it really is a scam.

Then went to bennys the next day and got my inspection sticker.

Small shops are clown shows here. Complete and the modification shops are not. Just get an inspection at Benny’s.

It's a shame what quality lube turned into. They really suck there now the main guy is a grade-A a-hole and they always try to sale things you don't need. They pulled the engine mount thing on me and wouldn't give an inspection. Drove to Gryder Glass, and got in and out in 15 minutes.

Went back for the very last time for an oil change and rotation since I bought tires there (under previous owners), they tried to sell me on changing ball joints. I had just had new shocks put on so I knew my joints were fine.

Those guys suck

Where would you go for new ball joints out here? Honestly need to change mine and I don’t have a lift I can use near me.

Hilarious that you also have experienced that engine mount bullshite, was a first for me.

I can't stand the sumbitch that does the inspections there. He's just an a-hole. His attitude is terrible. I used to go there for oil changes before Bryan's Place bought it and started doing the 180 point fricking inspection when I'm just there trying to get oil. I don't need your dumbasses checking and quoting me $3,000 worth of shite that's not needed on my ride that Bryan's Place would be happy to take care of for me. Just change the damn oil so I can be gone. Not going again. I wonder how many people fall for that there. It must work to some extent.

There was a dude selling fake ones outside of a gas station on Bluebonnet a few months back. I didn't need one but as I drove off I thought - "Hmmm..."

I got a ticket for an expired one about 2 years ago from EBRPSO. They waived it when I got a new one, took a picture of it and emailed them. But when I got the ticket, nobody ever wrote down any numbers, scanned it, nothing.

Assuming it was a pretty high quality fake, how would they ever know it was a counterfeit? Does something pop up when they run your registration?

They used to only do the EBRP inspections there even though they are in East Feliciana. Because of me, they now do both.

I went by there about a year ago because O was about to go out of town and needed an oil change. I had a 21 Silverado 2500 6.6 gas burner at the time. Dude pulled the motor mount shite with me. I laughed and asked him if anyone had ever fallen for that bullshite. He got mad and said something to the effect well it’s your truck not mine. I would get them to change a spark plug in a go cart.

Start the computer will as for information like driver’s license number and VIN twice.
Then next screen it usually put the vehicle information if it does not pop up.

The 2 yr or 1 yr outside the 5 parish area is just a visual and put P or F in the computer. Then you put the sticker number in at the end if it passes.

1yr for the 5 parish area around EBRP is visual P or F and then you do the gas cap test, and then the hookup to the computer. If the computer fails due to codes there not much a station can do for you. If you pass the emission sticker has a number and the inspection sticker has a number. Enter those into the computer.

Now on the back of the sticker if I am correct you put the 8 or 6 of the VIN, type of vehicle PU or sedan, and station inspection that licensed signs the sticker with his number.

Just an update, I passed by ol boy’s shop around 3pm on Presidents’ Day and not a lift in use.

A worker was standing in the middle of a bay on their phone. Guess no one needing a loose engine fixing
