I lived in Asheville for about 20 years and I observed more Toyota Prius (Priui? or Priuses?) than any other make.

associate Toyotas with stick-in-the-mud types who live their lives out of fear. I mean, you didn't even want the mild level of sportiness of a Honda or a Mazda, FFS?
A 4Runner is exponentially more attractive than anything Mazda or Honda puts out

Kia: They have moved up the ladder just like Honda and Toyota back in the day. They are now a legit car maker making nice, reliable cars.
You sound like someone trying to justify their purchase of the shitty Telluride

I can`t believe we're 5 pages in and no mention of the Pontiac. What the old saying? Hrmmmm......

My father was here recently. He said 'damn, that's big'.
That's all he said. He was quite cognisant of the manufacturer.

BMWs break down, take a long time to repair and are expensive. They look good, though.
To the same victim.
I have picked out every vehicle we’ve ever bought, starting with a metallic bronze ‘85 Thunderbird to her present Lexus SUV.
I have told her the only veto she has is if I bring home a BMW.
Beautiful eye candy but we keep vehicles too long for us to live with the ultimate breakdown machine.

Pontiac, along with Olds and Saturn, has been out of business for over a decade. Not getting many mentions if you aren’t still making cars.

Audi - Does absolutely no research on maintenance costs.

It was 10 years old. How many miles?

Ok, so what kinds of cars do y’all like? Lot of assholes chiming in here telling us what is junk or uncool. How old are you people? 18?
I’m a white guy driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee and really like it. Handles nice and cruises long distance with ease. Will buy another if I can outlive this one.
Also owned six Nissan Maximas and they could pretty much blow past anything on the roads. Very fast and has a second, third gear that flies up the on-ramps. (But expensive to work on.)
But the love of my vehicular life was my 2005 Chevy Tahoe.
Sounds to me like many of you drive your vehicles awfully hard and don’t take care of them.
—Never equated Subaru’s with any sexual preference.
— Never knew a Dodge was a hoodmobile, just a crappy car.
— Never realized my wife’s Camry carried a stigma.
