need more info, but that is the most likely culprit.

Did it crank normally, just took more cranks than normal to start?

Or did it crank slower than normal, like it was struggling?

Did you check the blinker fluid?

Just take it to local auto parts store and they will do a free test.

Everyone should have one of these. A dead better would only be a minor inconvenience.

Make sure youre feeding the hamsters inside the engine. They dont like it when it they dont get fed or have enough water.

Also make sure to check its not the alternator. Could be that too.

Might be, but could be other things.

If you have a multimeter, check the voltage. Should read over 12.5V while you have your headlights on. If it's lower than 12, your battery is very weak. In between, you may be able to recharge it.

Few things to check first before saying it's going dead.

If you have a battery that can be checked for fluid level, do so.

Is there corrosion on the anodes (terminals)? If so, hit them with a little water and sprinkle baking soda over them and let the baking soda do its thing with cleaning them, then rinse off.

Are the terminal connections tight?

How old is the battery. They don't last forever, especially if you do a lot of starting and stopping requiring a lot of start-ups a day.

I was having battery issues recently. Original battery was kind of old, so I replaced it... New battery died after a 2 days without running the vehicle. Turns out there was something that was draining the battery when the car was off. It was the damn CD changer in the trunk, which I have never used.

Take a multimeter, check the voltage and just start pulling fuses until you find the source of the drain.

If it's your alternator don't go pay some yahoo $500.00 to fix it.

I did one on a Camry in about 15 minutes and I don't know dick about cars.
